The
European Football Championship 2012 will take place from 8 June to 1 July 2012 in
Ukraine and Poland. The matches will be completed in eight host cities, divided
equally between the two host countries. In Ukraine; Kharkov, Donetsk, Kiev and
Lviv. In Poland; in Gdańsk, Poznań, Warsaw and Wrocław. The Polish cities Chorzów
and Kraków are on the reserve, as well as the Ukrainian Odessa. You can still
buy tickets on the internet for several matches.
Transportation
The bus or train are more
expensive than the airplane, while flying is also faster.
From theNetherlands there are no cheap flights to Ukraine ,
but you can fly form a German airport or Brussel Charleroi. To Poland you can travel by airport Eindhoven , on the website of Wizz Air you can get cheap flights
to all cities in Poland .

Residence
If you’re arrived, you
need a place to sleep. This site gives a good
overview of hotels in the host cities. In
Eastern Europe you can eat relatively inexpensive and you get large portions. Beer is
also quite cheap, you get half liters for a few zlotys. At present, four Polish
zloty is one euro. In Ukrainian, about eleven grivnas is one euro. The exchange
rate can change. Ukraine is not an EU country,
but you don’t need a visa.
