Blue Grotto
The Blue Grotto is a popular destination for tourists on the island of
Malta. It was also used for a scene of the 2004 film Troy, starring Brad
Pitt.
This name of the Blue Grotto was created by the phenomenon of the light that shines in this cave with the reflection on the "roof" of the cave on the water. This gives a great glow blue, which is worth a visit and trip by boat. It is also a wonderful place to visit for divers. The busstops nearby, which makes it easy to reach.
The fishermans city Marsaxlokk
Marsaxlokk in Malta is seen as the main fishing village in Malta as well as one of the most wonderful places because of a beautiful sea view. Along the coastline there are many traditional Maltese fishing boats. On these boats, called "Luzzu" boats, is an eye painted believed to be protection for the fishermen against the evil eye. The fish that are caught by fishermen, constitute the bulk of all fish in Malta. This involves the swordfish, tuna and locally very popular lampuki. The Sunday market is a real event and a must for any visitor to Malta.

For those of you who want to sunbathe all day, go on a boat trip (M.S. Hera, excursion from a boat trip on a luxury sailing boat that visits the Blue Lagoon, beautiful cliffs, sails by the city of Slima, gives the opportunity to swim in the brightest waters, a lunch and the view on Malta from the ocean for 25 euros per person) or excercise other water sports like diving.
