Tips for finding cheap airline tickets

On the Internet you can find many providers of cheap flights. Prices vary by provider and by day. So it’s worth to compare those cheap flights and if you can’t find one, look again the day after because this can rapidly change. The best day for booking your flight is on a Tuesday morning.

First of all, book early! The first chairs are often sold for low prices. Especially for longer flights it is better to look real early for an attractive offer. The prices are the highest in the last few weeks before the flight. You could find a last minute offer, but that’s a risk not always worth taking.

Choose the correct date and time. The cheapest departure days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. The cheapest days to fly back are Sundays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. If it is possible avoid spring break, summer holidays and Christmas holidays. The cheapest time for flying is before 7.00 am or after 21.00 pm.

Booking on the site of the airline is cheaper than a booking site. If you make use of a comparison site, use a good one that offers the prices clearly by date, for example: KAYAK, skyscanner, Lowcostairlines and bingtravel.

Backpacking is all about adventure and independence as well as it is one of the cheapest way to travel around the world. In this blog we have the best basic backpack tips for you.

First tip: pack light! You will need a good backpack, it is impossible to backpacking with a suitcase. One of our favorite travel suppliers is Magellan'sIf you are packing your backpack, put the light items at the bottom and the heavier ones at the top. Your bag will feel lighter as they rest on your lower back. It also useful to put the items that you use most on top. Further, pack multi-function items, like pants that turn into shorts and little shampoo/conditioner combo bottles.

Second tip: use your feet! If you walk you'll get a close and personal view of your location. National parks, medieval cities and scenic coastlines are best experienced on foot. Walking is also for free and it will be great for your body and health at the same time. Before you start your trip, you need good shoes and some practice.

Budget tips for city trips

Budget tips for city trips

City trips are the most enjoyable short holidays throughout the year! If you have a lot of obligations and want to go on a short vacation, a city trip is an excellent choice! Today we will provide you with the most important basic budget traveling tips and lovely events to attend in the city of London!

Booking your flight
First of all, it is cheaper if you book your transportation and accommodation separately. If you need to book a flight, you can book a ticket with a low-cost airline such as Ryanair, EasyJet or Transavia. Book early, because the first seats are often sold for a low price. Last minute booking is also possible, but then you would need to be flexible. The cheapest departure days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. The cheapest days to fly back are Sundays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Bringing suitcases costs extra with Ryanair, so only take your hand luggage (about 10 kg) for the holidays.

When you arrive in the city, you would probably have to take a train to get to the city. This because with low-cost airlines you usually land on a small airport. It is really easy to get to the city of London. Once you are in the city, the best way of travelling in the city is by using the Metro. You could usually buy a day pass or a ticket for a couple days. These tickets are easy to get, cheap and give you access to easy transportation throughout London.
